This type of meditation is led by a teacher or guide. Guided meditation has a purpose - some are developed with specific goals such as to reduce anxiety, build confidence, alleviate fears, relax the body, or prepare for sleep. The teaching expert uses a script to guide the student through a sequence of thoughts regarding the body, breath, and other experiences. Jason Stephenson is one of my favorites.
